Teach business
by talking cases.

LiveCases turns a case study into a cast of AI characters. Participants interview them through text or voice, piece the evidence together and reach their own conclusions.

A case with a human side

Maya Chen

You: What changed as the company grew?
Maya Chen: We now have 12 stores. I've proposed four more, but our operations lead wants to talk about staffing first.

The thinking is the point

Bring the case to the conversation.

When every fact arrives in a single document, it is easy to skip straight to a summary. Real investigations are rarely that tidy.

LiveCases puts information in the hands of different people. Participants decide who to ask, what to follow up on, and how to make sense of perspectives that may not agree.

Designed around your teaching

You set the scene.
They find their way.

The experience we are building, starting with the case studio.

A cast, not a single answer

Give each character their own knowledge, voice and point of view. Let participants connect what they hear.

Your teaching purpose, protected

A private learning objective guides character instructions. Participants get the scenario, not the conclusion.

Evidence beyond the conversation

Bring exhibits and source material into the investigation, alongside the people who give them context.

A window into the process

Organizers can review conversation logs and exports to see how participants investigate a case.

From case to classroom

A familiar case. A new way in.

The teaching workflow

01

Shape your case

Start with your source material and learning objective. Choose the characters, then review and edit what each one knows.

02

Open the conversation

Share a session with your class. Participants interview characters and explore evidence within the limits you set.

03

Bring it back to class

Review conversation logs and use what participants discovered to inform your classroom discussion.

From the classroom

Small conversations.
Lasting discoveries.

Student feedback from the earlier course experience, shared on the original LiveCases site.

"I found great value in our in-class discussions and mini-GPT exercises. The mini GPT exercises taught me the power of artificial intelligence and how generative AI can be utilized in decision-making and learning new concepts."

Start with a question worth asking

What will your participants discover?

Explore the new studio with a fictional case. Give its characters a voice and make the introduction your own.

A few things to know

Good questions.

Can I start with a case I already teach?

Yes. Approved creators can upload a case, add a private learning objective and build characters with AI or write them by hand. Review and test your case before publishing it for a session.

Will the characters give away the answer?

The design uses your private learning objective to shape what characters should and should not reveal. They share evidence rather than solve the case. These guardrails still need testing; no AI system can guarantee that a participant will never bypass an instruction.

What will participants see?

A focused session with its introduction, available characters and released evidence. Your private learning objective, character knowledge and authoring instructions stay out of participant views.

Does LiveCases grade or collect assignments?

LiveCases gives organizers conversation logs and exports to support review. You collect assignments and grade outside LiveCases.

What can I try right now?

Sign in to join sessions you are invited to, or apply to become a case creator. The preview lets you explore both workspaces with a fictional case, without an account or AI charges.
